Shake down sail 6th May

Headed over to Loch Choire and went Boathouse . Changed ownership nice but more pub food. And no fish!!! spent Saturday replacing stripe. And doing a few other jobs. Following day beautiful , breakfast alfresco. Rushed to put new sail. But never got to use, wind picked up was a wild ride back , and picking up buoy was a nightmare, pitching up and down by 1.5 meters. But excellent team work resulted in a first pick up even if it was just a rope through the eye, then creep forward taking it in at every opportunity.

5th - 6th August

Popped up to fit Log and get a sail with Gordon and Pete. Weather Saturday night wrote off chances of getting back from Tobermory -45mph - So decided to spend night on pontoon at mooring and introduce Pete to The Old Inn - having had one of Gs' chilies.  Place was packed and we were the last to leave .  Saturday lazy start . Many folk off loading gear , and getting off their boats before the weather hit later that night.  We dumped most of gear in to car then went off for 1.5-2hr sail out in Linne which was very nice.  Then got back in time before the first of the weather arrived  = Rain.

  

Wednesday...oban back to mooring

Quiet morning headed back in no wind ..  motored with polly pilot doing most of work.  Stripped out depth reader to return to nasa.

Tuesday..5th July Tobermory.. Kerrera

Again bit of a motoring trip.. though got to goose wing for two thirds  the Way down the Mull.   Decided  to grab a mooring behind Heather island.  Popped a shore but bit disappointin.  Then jess what started to rain, headed back to the boat.  Fiddled with the radio wiring ..seems to be sorted ..connection to the switch looks the guilty connection.  If happens again will need to replace.  Unfortunately the depth reader seems to be buggered  the screen rather than the transducer. But then the sun came out...☺ only neighbour left had place to our selves
