27th Sept Lochnell

 Motored boat around to lochnell in a brisk wind. Left on mooring and rowed a shore.

26th Sept - Day at Mooring

 Motored back to mooring and parked up on the pontoon - lovely day - pottered about taking some stuff off  the boat. Met up with M & G who parked in the lay by.  Had a BBQ plus at Linne that evening. Great time  weather was very kind though eventually the cold drove us all back to our beds.

26th Sept - Loch a Choire

 A brisk sail to Loch a'Choire !  but once in was lovely and sheltered - Anchored at head of bay and had place to ourselves for most of the day.  Other than a short 20+knts gust that came into the bay rest of day was settled and wind died of that evening.

25th Sept - Mooring to Arids Bay

 Due to forecasted northerlies  wen to Arids bay- lovely sheltered spot - Sun came out - just chilled and flew drone.

   

17th Sept Back to Mooring

 Light wind - motor back to mooring

15th Sept Tobermory to Oban

 Mixed weather to Oban - got a sail in a brisk wind. Stayed at Oban town marine , Where Dave Punton Turned up.  Got some mussels in a for  starters before we went for fish and chips. 

15th Sept - Tobermory

 Motored and then and good sail - went on to the bay via the south calf island entrance. And a lovely evening  on board- Decide to stay put due to covid etc.. And plucked the courage to fly the drone.   

14th Sept - Mooring to Puldoran

 Had Shahid and Gordon on board started of windy on the nose, but end up with great sail to Puldoran and a evening at anchor 

6th Sept - Headed back to Mooring

 Started misty,  and motored most of way down ( Vetus behaved itself) as we turned mull Sun came out and got a bit of a sail back 

5th Sept - Left Sunart

 Entrance Sunart we were met my F5/6  And struggled to make headway on top of which the the coolant alarm went off. Put some sail up and eased up on the engine. Decide to head to Tobermory - more chance of getting help if need.  Went to pontoon. had to borrow a drill to repair a wing nut that sheering on the raw water inlet for the engine - Having checked all, only possible issue was coolant seem low.

4th Loch Sunart (Salen)

 Took a mooring and went for a walk to the pub for a drink.  Decide to eat on board and fully charge the batteries. 

2 & 3rd Tobermory

Due to weather hung out in Tobermory. The boom tent was great provided great shelter. Had a wander about and went for a walk along the cliff. Bought some mussels for lunch on board 

1st sept Sailed to Tobormory

Good sail all the way to Tobormory 8 + knots at times with a southerly wind. Weather expected to turn overnight but hope to missed the worst of the rain. Put new cockpit tent up. Bit of a faff but worth it when it's up. Yet to put away.  

31st August Finally on the Boat

Got on about 14.00 after visit to Owen sails. Loaded boat up. Then back to owen to collect tent. Then back via port Appin for early tea. Lovely evening.
