21st June - Ardfern to Tayvallich

Nice morning motor sailed most of way as tide was against us, and there wasn't quite enough wind to push through without motor. Lovely day. Picked a mooring at Tayvallich 2pm £15.

Tayvallich Cafe shut every Tuesday ( Timing) Wengt for a brief shop took stuff back to boat then went for a walk along to the Pub. Sat outside gorgeous day. Bit of a cool breeze.

Spagbol with local mince was dinner . Was the longest day of the year. Ruined a bit by boat behind with engine running (topping up battery) for 2 hrs  very irritating. Few seals sat about

Wild party on board for longest day :-)

19th June -Puldoran - Melford Pier

Went for a walk over to the Pub . At the bridge over the Atlantic Though it was shut !!.  After a wee look about....

.... headed off, managed to make a dash through the Cuan Sound before the south bound flood took hold.  Moored up at Melford Pier.  Gorgeous weather  and as mooring had not been inspected got it for free. Little no wind so little or no risk or getting blown off.  And went for a walk along to the village for a pint at Melford holiday Village, where we sat in the sun and learnt about gun powder.  McGraws had been there week earlier . Birds are every where what a racket.  Got to fly Drone
