25th June . Craighouse

Rough night slept middle of boat. Up frequently checking but boat held well. Stayed anchored as wind was up all day. Sun was out though which helped.  Could only look at what we could not reach.

Set hotspot and watched 'Mother Ship Adrift ' And watched few boats come expecting moorings like we did. Quite windy at times though tried to catch up on some sleep .  And omelette for lunch followed by
 tinned curry for dinner :-)

Wind dropped late evening so slept in our cabin again. Lovely calm night .

Strong winds over night. Boat held well. Pottered about reading, checking out insurances via hot spot up the mast.To windy to go ashore.
Pam repaired & washed bras ( Paps of Jura :-) )

D Enjoyed tinned ravioli for lunch a rare treat from late 1970's

Spent afternoon reading and prepped boat for more wind, with stay sail. Wind picked up two boats dragged.   Refreshed bolognese for dinner

Were entertained by 6 or so dolphins, before bedding down in centre of boat to minimize affect of pitching. And D set hourly alarm but wind only topped out at 22 knots Not great sleep but Grania held well .

23rd June Fairy Isles to Craighouse Jura

Waited for winds to subside before heading to Craighouse on Jura.

Misty start and low wind resulted in motoring across to Jura. No visitor moorings. Apparently due to be put in the following week all delayed due to Covid, So anchored up.

Went to community shop before 17.45 dinner at Jura Hotel. Met a family of four and their dog Nessie
Rosie. They used to stay at Dallens bay New Archie.

21st June - Ardfern to Tayvallich

Nice morning motor sailed most of way as tide was against us, and there wasn't quite enough wind to push through without motor. Lovely day. Picked a mooring at Tayvallich 2pm £15.

Tayvallich Cafe shut every Tuesday ( Timing) Wengt for a brief shop took stuff back to boat then went for a walk along to the Pub. Sat outside gorgeous day. Bit of a cool breeze.

Spagbol with local mince was dinner . Was the longest day of the year. Ruined a bit by boat behind with engine running (topping up battery) for 2 hrs  very irritating. Few seals sat about
