1st july Aline to Oban

Left Aline at 9.30 win on the nose and motored down the Mull under auto pilot. Worked a treat. Once past the bumpy bit and lismore but some headsail  up and romped along at 6.5 again under auto pilot.  Grabbed a buoy at oban ( After missing the first) as of course the wind was now up to circa 20. And settled down for lunch and read while the ÷=@$#weather went past. Then into Oban for a pint of Blue Moon . Some real nice fish and chips then back to boat .

29th June Tobermory to Loch Aline

A day of contrasts..set off got out of Tobermory to be met by 25knots of wind. Which slowly died away. Got into Loch Aline an wind started to pick up
Anchored at the head of the Loch.  Wind picked up to 20+ I started to drag ...lifted and reset for the same to happen. This all took place over 2 hrs .. But thank God I had installed the windlass. Finally retreated to a mooring ..even that was a handful to grab and set . Need to rig some sort of bridle as anchor gets in the way. Nevertheless securely attached with 3 points. Will sleep easy

28th Jume

Beautiful day in Tobermory  did variety of jobs on Grania in the morning  then headed off for a walk before getting back on board..pottering day. No rain all day  bonus been out doors nearly all day

Tobermory 27th June

Bit of motoring. Motor sailing and sailing and got here. Bits of blue sky poking through. On a mooring so dinghy yet to go up.

Day One 26th June

Boat along side and loaded up, it is cloudy  but nice. Sure that will all change tomorrow. But for the moment finish tea shower. May be last for a while ! Then dinner.  Ton  of food on board  and enough kitchen & loo roll to absorb the next tide !
